Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Bam Adebayo had a charged sequence in the second quarter of the Miami Heat's loss to the Orlando Magic, following a two-handed block with a transition slam.
The back-to-back plays came with about 9 minutes remaining before halftime of the Heat's 105-90 setback on Tuesday at American Airlines Arena in Miami. Magic swingman Evan Fournier had the ball in transition and went up for a shot just a few feet from the rim when Adebayo soared to block the attempt with both hands. The rejection preserved the Heat's 29-27 lead at the time.
