Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Bam Adebayo had a charged sequence in the second quarter of the Miami Heat's loss to the Orlando Magic, following a two-handed block with a transition slam.

The back-to-back plays came with about 9 minutes remaining before halftime of the Heat's 105-90 setback on Tuesday at American Airlines Arena in Miami. Magic swingman Evan Fournier had the ball in transition and went up for a shot just a few feet from the rim when Adebayo soared to block the attempt with both hands. The rejection preserved the Heat's 29-27 lead at the time.

Miami then took off in transition with Kelly Olynyk firing up a 3-pointer on the other end of the floor. The shot hit off of the rim and bounced out, but Adebayo sprinted back and was trailing the play. The Heat big man snatched the ball above the rim and slammed it down with his right hand. Adebayo fell to the floor following the powerful flush.

Adebayo had six points, seven rebounds and three blocks in the loss. Justise Winslow led the Heat with 14 points off of the bench. Aaron Gordon scored a game-high 20 points and had 14 rebounds and five assists for the Magic.

The Heat faces the Phoenix Suns at 9 p.m. on Friday at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. Orlando hosts the Denver Nuggets at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Amway Center in Orlando.
