Nov. 28 (UPI) -- It didn't take long for Darren Collison to put DeAndre Ayton on the floor with a crossover during the Indiana Pacers' win against the Phoenix Suns.

He did so in the first quarter of the 109-104 triumph on Tuesday at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. The Suns had a 15-10 lead with 6:47 to go in the opening frame when Collison performed the ankle-breaking antic. He dribbled the ball around Devin Booker at the top of the 3-point line before turning into the paint.

It was there where he came up against Ayton, the Suns' 7-foot-1 No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Collison dribbled to the edge of the free throw line before slamming on the brakes, sending Ayton falling away and crashing to the floor. The Pacers guard finished the play with an easy layup.

Collison finished the game with 11 points, 11 assists and five rebounds. Ayton scored 18 points and had 12 rebounds in the loss.

T.J. Warren scored a game-high 25 points for the Suns. Doug McDermott and Domantas Sabonis each scored 21 points to lead the Pacers.
