Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Trae Young got the rookie treatment from his Atlanta Hawks teammates, getting his new Audi filled with popcorn.

Young's teammate Jeremy Lin posted a video of the sequence Friday on Instagram.

"Haha life of a rookie," Lin wrote as the caption for one of the videos.

Lin then showed Young walking up to his Audi R8 while in the parking lot of the Hawks' training facility. Young was so flustered that he had to walk away from his car and take a breath.

"I'm going to be a taste tester," Lin said before digging in Young's passenger seat for a buttery bite.

"That's high-level popcorn."

Hawks veteran Kent Bazemore drove by the scene to offer some advice for the rookie.

"Be humble man," Bazemore said.

Young purchased the $140,000 car in July after signing his rookie contract. The 20-year-old received the car as a surprise from his parents.

The No. 5 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft is averaging 18.4 points, 7.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game this season for the Hawks. Young scored 16 points and had five assists and four rebounds in the Hawks' 124-109 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Friday in Atlanta.
