June 25 (UPI) -- LeBron James was in Miami over the weekend, watching his son LeBron James Jr. on the AAU circuit. James' oldest son was at Southwest Miami High School playing in the Balling on the Beach tournament.

At one point in the game, 'Bronny' came up with a steal and took off in transition. When he reached the other end of the court, he palmed the ball in his right hand and sailed toward the rim. He attempted to throw down a one-handed slam, but threw the ball over the rim to his left instead of putting it through.

James celebrated up in the stands by putting his hands on his head and standing up from his seat. The King also gave a halftime speech to Bronny's North Coast Blue Chips teammates.

"Man what," James wrote on social media. "First time he ever tried that in a game today! And it was someone kinda trailing him behind too! Surprised not only me but everyone in the gym. Man o Man!"

Bronny, 13, earned props from several NBA players and celebrities, including Kevin Hart, Dwyane Wade and Dejounte Murray.

"Remember when I did the same thing in our church basketball league," Hart wrote on Instagram. "The ushers and pastors went crazy. Those were the days man ... so may memories. Praise the lord and then dunk."

The Blue Chips lost to NTF in the seventh grade final by a score of 63-55.
