Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Langston Galloway took the court Tuesday at Little Caesars Arena to throw down and slam-dunk and find out if his wife was having a boy or a girl.

The Detroit Pistons guard and wife Sabrina Stansberry stood on the court, before Galloway ran up and jammed a small basketball through the rim. The ball exploded with the color blue, signaling a boy.

"Still Surreal Were Having a [boy emoji]! Blessing to Add To The Fam!! Lil G," Galloway wrote on social media.

After making the basket, Galloway and his wife shared a long hug. Teammates and cameramen stood nearby, applauding the couple.

Galloway's teammate Andre Drummond performed some of the filming for the stunt.

Detroit won Tuesday's game 107-83 over the visiting Indiana Pacers. Galloway scored seven points in the victory. The Pistons face the Orlando Magic at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Amway Center in Orlando.
