Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Superstar NBA point guards Kyrie Irving and John Wall were mic'd up for the Washington Wizards' and Boston Celtics' Christmas meeting.

And it was a blast.

At the beginning of the game, cameras caught Irving giving a present to a little boy on the court.

Later on, Wall drove the lane and attempted to throw down a huge left-handed dunk. The ball hit off of the back of the rim and missed touching the net. Irving nagged at Wall on the resulting possession, saying: "You missed your highlight."

Wall also asked about getting some kicks, asking Irving: "I still can't get no Kyries?" He was referring to a pair of Irving's signature shoes.

Irving and Wall are good friends off of the court. On Sunday, Wall told reporters that when they get on the court, they are "trying to take each other's head off," according to NBC Sports.

Wall was also heard being a bit of a fan of Irving. After one reverse layup, he told Irving: "Tough finish. I knew you were going to do that."

At one point in the game, Wall walked over to New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski in the court side row of seats and told him to "Go win you another one."

Wall took over late in the game. The Wizards left Boston with a 111-103 victory. Wall scored 21 points and had 14 assists. Irving had 20 points and five helpers. Bradley Beal led all scorers with 25 points. The Wizards' shooting guard also had eight rebounds in the victory.
