BOSTON -- Center Rudy Gobert left the Utah Jazz's game against the Boston Celtics early in the first quarter Friday night with an apparent left knee injury.

Gobert, who had played just five games since returning from missing 11 games with a right tibia contusion, fell over teammate Derrick Favors vying for a rebound just 1:49 into the game.

Gobert was on his back as trainers arrived and was then helped to his feet. He was assisted off the court but seemed to be walking better as he headed for the locker room.

The 7-foot-1 Gobert came into the game averaging 12.2 points and 10.1 rebounds. He also suffered a knee injury in last season's playoffs.
