Freida Bosh, the mother of 11-time NBA All-Star Chris Bosh, has been named as a person of interest in a drug trafficking case after his DeSoto, Texas, home was raided by police Friday morning.
No arrests were made, but according to WFAA-TV in Dallas and police reports a "large amount of drug paraphernalia" was found inside the house.
The DeSoto Police Department issued a release saying it had been tipped off about a large amount of vehicle traffic coming and going from the residence. Witnesses also observed several "hand to hand" transactions that appeared to involve drugs.
The Dallas Morning News reported DeSoto police detectives searched the home around 6:30 a.m. Friday.
Miami released Bosh on July 4, 2017. He has not played since February 2016 because of multiple setbacks caused by blood clots. He won two titles with the Heat and says he still wants to play in the NBA.
