NEW YORK -- Stephen Curry totaled 39 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists before fouling out as the Golden State Warriors held on for a 118-111 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night. The defending NBA champions took the lead in the first quarter and survived a lull in the fourth quarter.

Less than 24 hours after rallying from a 24-point deficit in Philadelphia, the Warriors did not experience any similar problems in the first half Sunday. Golden State led for most of the final 42:08, held a 22-point lead at halftime and a 28-point edge early in the third before the Nets got close.
Curry, who scored 20 of his 35 points Saturday in the Warriors' 47-point third quarter, finished with his 137th regular-season 30-point game Sunday. He shot 14 of 24 from the floor and hit four 3-pointers. Curry also finished with his 19th point/rebound double-double and his 10th career game with 30 points and 10 rebounds.
The Warriors (13-4) won for the ninth time in 10 games despite missing Kevin Durant. The star forward sat out with a sprained left ankle, missing a game for the second time this season.
Golden State's Klay Thompson hit a 3-pointer for the 71st straight game and recorded his third career double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Allan Crabbe led the Nets (6-10) with 25 points. Spencer Dinwiddie added 21 for Brooklyn, which shot 35.8 percent and lost for the eighth time in 11 games. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (16 points, 12 rebounds) and DeMarre Carroll (15 points, 11 rebounds) each had double-doubles for Brooklyn.
Curry picked up his fifth foul with seven seconds left in the third quarter and was on the bench when a sweeping hook shot by rookie Jarrett Allen sliced the lead to 104-96 with 6:43 remaining.
It was 105-99 on a 3-pointer by Dinwiddie with 4:55 remaining, but Curry banked in a layup. Still, Curry's final hoop was not enough to clinch it as the Nets got it to 107-102 on a Crabbe free throw with 3:44 left.
Curry fouled out with three minutes remaining when he was called for a charge on Quincy Acy on a drive through the lane.
The Nets were within 114-109 on a 3-pointer by Crabbe with 71 seconds remaining, but Dinwiddie missed a 3-pointer on Brooklyn's next possession, and the Warriors iced the game at the line.
NOTES: Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he thought F Kevin Durant sprained his left ankle bumping into C Joel Embiid during the first quarter of Golden State's 124-116 win at Philadelphia on Saturday. Durant told Kerr he wasn't sure it happened at that point. ... In an odd scheduling twist, the Nets are visiting Cleveland in their next game after facing the Warriors for the second straight season. The Nets visit Cleveland on Wednesday. Last season, Brooklyn went there on the second night of a back-to-back and lost by 20. ... Brooklyn F Trevor Booker started at center for the third straight game but sprained his left ankle in the first half. He wound up scoreless in nine minutes.
