Kevin Durant: Golden State Warriors forward to miss game against Brooklyn Nets

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant will miss Sunday night's game against the Brooklyn Nets with a sprained left ankle, the team announced.

Durant suffered the injury during Saturday night's 124-116 road win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center. He scored 27 points on 11-of-20 shooting with five rebounds and two blocks in 33 minutes.

Durant is considered day-to-day and the injury is not believed to be serious.

The Warriors travel to Oklahoma City to play the Thunder on Wednesday night. The game would be Durant's second time playing in Oklahoma City against his former team since joining the Warriors last season.

Durant is averaging 24.9 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 15 games this season.
