LeBron James makes insane block on Giannis Antetokounmpo

By Alex Butler

Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James proved he's still the best player in the NBA with one sensational block against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The big play went down in the fourth quarter Friday in the Cavaliers' 116-97 win at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

Cleveland led Milwaukee 98-86 with 6:40 remaining. Antetokounmpo dribbled into a fast break and stared down a defense of Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Kevin Love. The Bucks star picked up his dribble and did a Euro Step to get around James.

Wade jumped up to block the shot first, but came up empty with his swat.

But James didn't miss.

He turned his body and sailed to the backboard and used his left hand to obliterate the attempt against the glass.

After the game, Cavaliers forward Jae Crowder told reporters that his presence is helping free up James on defense.

"It helps him a lot," Crowder told USA Today Sports. "He doesn't have to exert a lot of energy. He can roam a little bit on the defensive end. He's a great talker. If he's the second line of defense, he's great at putting guys in position to make plays. It works for everybody."

James had 24 points, eight assists and five rebounds in the win. Antetokounmpo had 34 points, eight assists, eight rebounds and three steals in the loss.

"It's a reminder," Antetokounmpo told reporters after the game, according to CBS Sports. "We're getting there, we're getting there. We're improving on a daily basis. But we gotta take a lotta steps forward to achieve our goals. We still gotta keep working hard."
