Jeremy Lin is expected to miss the rest of the 2017-18 season after the Brooklyn Nets said he sustained a ruptured patella tendon of the right knee in Wednesday night's regular-season opener against the Pacers in Indiana.
Lin was injured on a drive to the basket during the fourth quarter of the Nets' 140-131 road loss to the Indiana Pacers and had to leave the game. He limped back to the locker room under his own power after initially being assisted.
