Five-time All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge agreed to terms on a three-year, $72.3 million contract extension with the San Antonio Spurs, multiple outlets reported on Monday.

The deal will keep Aldridge under contract with the Spurs through the 2020-21 season.

Aldridge will opt into the $22.3 million player option on his 2018-19 contract, and the extension's new terms will start with the 2019-20 season. The 32-year-old Dallas native is set to make $21.4 million in the 2016-17 season.

Aldridge averaged 17.3 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Spurs last season. He's averaged 19.1 points and 8.3 rebounds for his 11-year NBA career since being selected by Chicago with the No. 2 overall pick of the 2006 draft.

The 6-foot-11 Aldridge played his first nine seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers before joining the Spurs prior to the 2015-16 season.
