Sept. 8 (UPI) -- NBA rookie Lonzo Ball hasn't taken the court for a regular season game, but he does have a rap single.
The Los Angeles Lakers youngster dropped Melo Ball 1 featuring Kenneth Paige on Monday.
Ball's rap features many verses about his younger brother LaMelo Ball. Melo is a 16-year-old basketball prodigy who plays for Chino Hills High School in California. He scored 92 points in a game back in February.
Lonzo's track first debuted in a video for Slam magazine. That video revealed LaMelo's first signature shoe, which retails for $395.
Lonzo goes by the rap name Zo.
"See my lil brother, he just doing him," Ball says in the new track. "You can check the 'gram, he got a million fans. Got his brothers, he don't need no fans. He swagged out, he a walking gem."
"The boy's blessed, yeah he's heaven sent. Black Lamb, never paid the rent. Hopping out with the MD kicks, got them cameras ready and they taken flicks. Camera ready in...hit or miss, Triple Bs gotta handle biz, three Bs no room for sis. Why you looking sour, man? We love the kids."
"Born a Ball, that's just what it is. I'm a king, lil bro a prince. Throwin' racks and you throwin' fits. How you hatin' and you bangin' this?"
"Melo dip, and the Lamb dippin," Lonzo sings. "Got his own shoe, 'cos it's only fitting."
"Big Baller Brand, yeah we do it different. This was all part of Big Baller's vision. He the youngest to do it. I'm rappin', he hoopin'. I'm passing, he shootin.' The game, we polluting."
"We rap in the moment," Lonzo raps. "We not with the losing. We ready for war, we Triple B troopers. Melo Ball 1. Youngest in the game. Only 16 in the Lamb and he switching lanes. Got the Gucci shades. MB1s inside the black paint. Headed to the top. Smash the gas and accelerate."
The Lakers start the season at Oct. 19 with a matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. Ball was named the NBA Summer League MVP.
