Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman headed to NBA Live 18

Aug. 10 (UPI) -- If you haven't heard Stephen A. Smith's voice enough already, prepare yourself: he's headed to NBA Live 18.

The prolific ESPN analyst and First Take host will appear in the EA Sports video game this year, according to multiple reports.The game is set for release on Sept. 19. Houston Rockets point guard James Harden is on the cover.

ESPN's Smith and Max Kellerman will appear in fake First Take segments during "The One" career mode in the game. Mike Breen and Jeff Van Gundy will commentate during the games.

Smith tweeted the news on Thursday, with a link to a Uproxx article.

"We are headed to your video game consoles," he said.

According to multiple screengrabs from the gam posted on social media, hot takes are flying from Smith during the segments.

He talks about an NBA prospect suffering a major knee injury, the Pro-Am circuit and more.

WNBA teams also appear in the title. A demo for the game goes live on Aug. 11 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

"The WNBA is home to some of the most incredible athletes on the planet, and we've been working hard to integrate them into our game in an authentic and meaningful way," NBA Live 18 executive producer Sean O'Brien said in a statement, according to Polygon. "This is only a taste of what we have in store, and look forward to working with the league on more great integrations in the franchise in the future."

NBA 2K18 also launches in September.
