Chicago Bulls' Dwyane Wade explains perfect recipe to stop Stephen Curry

Aug. 1 (UPI) -- He might have averaged a career-low 3.8 assists per game last season, but Chicago Bulls guard Dwayne Wade was dishing some dimes Tuesday on Twitter.

Wade, 35, was all over the social media platform discussing a variety of basketball related topics. The 14-year NBA veteran even revealed his secret recipe for stopping Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry.

One of the first tweets he responded to came from a fan who said that they don't understand how Wade can still perform at a high level, despite his history of knee problems.

"One day I will never ball again," Wade tweeted. "Until then I'll give it everything I have."

This isn't the first time Wade has had a tweeting session with fans. He said his decisions on who to respond to are purely random.

Wade's plan to stop Curry involved keeping his wife Ayesha from going to the grocery store. "Pray that every grocery store in the world go out of business and his wife can't cook him any food. Whatever she's cooking it's working," Wade tweeted.

Another user tweeted a photo of Wade dunking on Anderson Verejao of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wade was asked what he was thinking during the play.

"He gon cry in the car," Wade tweeted.

Wade was asked about several other memorable plays throughout his career, including when he gets dunked on. He was asked if he gets embarrassed about being the victim of a slam.

"Nope. He got me. I made fun of myself the day after on twitter. I don't take myself to serious," Wade said.

He was then asked to rank himself when it came to the basketball greats.

"I don't care about that," Wade tweeted. "I've jus tried to get the best out of what's inside me and make my Mom, Dad, Wife and kids proud of me. That's greatness."

Wade averaged 18.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season for the Bulls. The 12-time All-Star is due $23.8 million this season on the final year of his deal with the franchise.
