July 18 (UPI) -- Joel Embiid said he should have at least a 95 rating in NBA2K, so he was shocked to hear he was only an 86 in the video game.
Embiid said he tried to rate himself on the game and "guessed" he would be a 95.
The Philadelphia 76ers' big man didn't express much humility when assessing his own skills in an interview with NBA 2K.
"It's kind of hard to rate me because I felt like last year when I was on the court, I was the best defender in the league," Embiid said. "Then as a big man, I can do everything. Shoot 3s, post sup, handle the ball, playmaker...I'll be honest it should be at least 95."

He was obviously upset, but declined to use profanities when he heard what his actual rating was.
"What? That's bull crap," Embiid said. "I'm not gonna cuss. I just got fined so I'm not gonna cuss. But, 86...I'm definitely going to bump it up to 95 during the season."
"The Process" was fined $10,000 by the NBA in early July after directing an obscenity at LaVar Ball, the father of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball.
Embiid, 23, was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He saw his first action last season, playing in 31 games for the Sixers.
"My Durability rating must've not allowed my 2k rating to be at least 95!!!! Gotta work on that," Embiid tweeted Monday.
Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James is the highest-rated player in the game at 97 overall. James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard all received 96 ratings. Golden State Warriors teammates Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant each earned a 95 overall rating.
Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving is the cover athlete for NBA 2K18, while Shaquille O'Neal graces the covers of the Legend Edition and Legend Edition Gold.
Irving is rated a 90. Oklahoma City Thunder star Paul George is a 91. Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan is rated an 89. He is the game's cover star in Canada.
NBA 2K18 is in stores on September 19.
