All NBA teams will have four uniform options to choose from starting next season, when the league is going away from traditional home and road appearance.

As part of a fresh partnership with Nike as its uniform provider, the NBA completely overhauled the look and feel of its jersey combinations. Every team will choose a home uniform -- it will not necessarily follow traditional lines of design or be white in color -- and the visiting team can opt to wear one of its four designs provided that uniform selection doesn't blend with the home team.

Nike said eight teams will have Classic uniform options, but those teams are not yet identified.

The jersey fabric will be lightweight and crafted of recycled plastics, per Nike, including a redesign of tighter hemlines borne of a study of athlete fit and hotspots.

All teams have four basic options: the classic white (formerly home) look or Association; the Icon uniform (team colors), Athlete Mindset and Community, which will be a locally inspired design.

Several teams offered a sneak peak via social media Tuesday, including the champion Golden State Warriors, who posted via Twitter.
