The 6-foot-10 native of Sweden appeared in 78 games for the Boston Celtics last season and averaged 3.8 points, 3.5 rebounds in 15.8 minutes.

Since entering the NBA as a second-round pick of the Detroit Pistons in 2009, Jerebko has averages of 6.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in 488 games. He also is a 35.2 percent shooter from 3-point range and has made at least 40 percent of his long-range attempts three times.

Jerebko became the seventh player born outside the United States on the Jazz, who also signed Switzerland native Thabo Sefolosha last week.
