July 13 (UPI) -- Ben Simmons showed off his shooting range Wednesday, draining a series of 3-pointers while preparing for the Philadelphia 76ers' next season.

Simmons took target practice at the UNLV gym. He lined up a few feet outside the 3-point line and unleashed about nine shots from long distance.

He made them all.

"Rain Drop Drop Top. Oh [expletive] Ben Simmons Got A Jump Shot. Makes/misses I'm out here working," Simmons wrote on the Instagram caption.

Simmons later linked up with Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James.

"Another good session," he wrote on Instagram.

He also caught the Sixers' Summer League game against the Los Angeles Lakers, watching Lonzo Ball show off the skills that made him the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He took a few photos with James and San Antonio Spurs guard Dejounte Murray. The Sixers lost the contest 103-102.

Ball netted a game-high 36 points, while dishing out 11 assists and pulling down eight rebounds.

"2 did his thing," Simmons tweeted just after midnight on Thursday, referencing Ball.

Simmons, 20, was the No. 1 overall pick in last year's NBA Draft. He appears to be recovering nicely from right foot surgery. He recently told ESPN that he has resumed playing 5-on-5 matchups. He is not participating in the Summer League with his Sixers.

Simmons made 56 percent of his shots at LSU, but shot just 1-of-3 from 3-point range, according to Sports Reference.
