The team did not disclose the contract details, but it had been reported earlier that Calderon agreed to a $2.3 million deal.

The 35-year-old Spaniard is expected to provide a backup for Kyrie Irving.
The 6-foot-3 Calderon split last season between the Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks, averaging 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 13.1 minutes over 41 games, including 13 starts. He also appeared in six playoff contests with Atlanta, averaging 4.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 12.5 minutes.
Calderon has played 12 NBA seasons and carries career averages of 9.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists and a 3.9 assist-to-turnover ratio in 28.0 minutes over 789 total games, including 559 starts.
