Chicago Bulls sign free agent guard Justin Holiday

The Chicago Bulls signed free agent guard Justin Holiday, the team announced Monday.

The Bulls did not disclose terms of the deal, but the Chicago Tribune reported that Holiday agreed to a two-year, $9 million contract.

Holiday, 28, played for Chicago in 2015-16, when he averaged 6.5 points and 1.7 assists.

In June 2016, he was traded to the New York Knicks along with Derrick Rose and a 2017 second-round pick in exchange for Jose Calderon, Jerian Grant and Robin Lopez.

The 6-foot-6 Holiday averaged 7.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 20.0 minutes in 82 games, including four starts, for the Knicks last season. He shot 43.3 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from 3-point range.
