Felton, 33, will play at the veteran minimum. He averaged 6.7 points and 2.4 assists last season for the Los Angeles Clippers. Felton will likely back up NBA MVP Russell Westbrook.

The 2005-2006 NBA second-team All-Rookie enjoyed his best season in 2010, when he posted 15.5 points, 8.3 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game for the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets. For his career, Felton has averaged 11.9 points, 5.7 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.

Felton was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft out of North Carolina. He owns a 41 percent career shooting percentage from the floor and has made 32 percent of his career 3-point shots. The Charlotte Bobcats drafted Felton. In addition to his stops with the Knicks and Nuggets, he also played for the Portland Trail Blazers and Dallas Mavericks, before signing with the Clippers last summer.

Felton has more than $50 million in career earnings, according to Basketball Reference. He will make $2.3 million this season and serve as better depth than the Thunder's current backup, Semaj Christon.

The Thunder has had a busy offseason. Before signing Felton, the team landed Paul George in a trade with the Indiana Pacers. Oklahoma City also added Patrick Patterson and re-signed defensive star Andre Roberson.
