July 5 (UPI) -- With a world championship in hand, the Golden State Warriors are looking toward the 2017-18 season. The franchise recently signed forward Omri Casspi.
Casspi, 29, had a career-low 3.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game last season in 13 contests for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The eight-year veteran was the No. 23 overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. His best season came in 2015, when he posted 11.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game for the Sacramento Kings.
