The ASM Sports agency tweeted a message that said their client is committed to signing with Washington.

Meanwhile, multiple media outlets reported that Washington restricted free agent small forward Otto Porter Jr. received a maximum contract offer from the Sacramento Kings after a meeting. The Wizards would have until Saturday to match what the Kings are offering, four years and approximately $106.5 million.
The Wizards finished 49-33 during the regular season in 2016-17 and lost to the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of an Eastern Conference semifinal series.
The injury-prone Meeks averaged 9.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists for the Orlando Magic last season while playing only half the season after sustaining a thumb injury.
Meeks has played in only 39 of 164 games in the past two seasons.
Meeks' career averages in 454 NBA games are 9.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists since he was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2009.
Porter, a restricted free agent, averaged 13.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals for the Wizards last season. He shot 51.6 percent from the field, including 43.4 percent from 3-point range, and is considered a good defender.
