Lonzo is expected to be a top 3 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. The draft is set for 4 p.m. on June 22. He has said that he will only workout for the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to an Orange County Register report, Ball was out of shape during his workout last week with the franchise.
On Monday, Kimmel brought up the statement that LaVar previously said about being able to beat Michael Jordan in one-on-one.
"He [Jordan's] too small, he too little," LaVar said. "If you weighing 210 pounds, we playing 1-on-1 -- you know I'm undefeated playing 1-on-1? I don't lose 1-on-1...If he played me 1-on-1, he'd cry."
Lonzo also said he could beat Jordan if the two hooped right now. Jordan is 54-years-old.
Kimmel asked Lonzo if it bothered him to always be with his dad.
"Nah, I love him. He's always been there for me," Lonzo said.
"Blink three times if you feel like you want him to go away," Kimmel said.
"We have a close relationship," LaVar said. "I know what he's about, he knows what I'm about."
"What is he about?" Kimmel asked, referring to LaVar.
"He just wants the best for his kids," Lonzo said.
LaVar proceeded to make several awkward puns, emphasizing his last name in certain words.
"It's unbelievable," Kimmel said.
"Emphasis on the ball," LaVar responded.
"Can I just give you a little advice?," Kimmel asked. "David Hasselhoff gets himself in a situation like that where everything became, don't Hassel the Hoff. This is Hoff-ul and whatever. You don't want your name to become one of those things like that."
"Unbelieva-BALL," Ball responded.
"Will there be a "Ball-juice" in our future?," Kimmel asked.
Ball said yes.
Lonzo also decided to take a stab at the Lakers' crosstown rival, the Los Angeles Clippers. Kimmel asked if he had any interest in playing for the other franchise at the Staples Center.
"They don't really have a chance, no," Lonzo said.
Lonzo had 14.6 points, 7.6 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game in his freshman season at UCLA. He was a consensus All-American.
Kimmel also brought out a pair of Lonzo's signature shoes: the ZO2's. The ZO2's debuted in May for $495.
