Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James had the dunk of all dunks Friday night

June 10 (UPI) -- LeBron James had one of the most ridiculous dunks in NBA Finals history Friday against the Golden State Warriors.

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar was driving down the court during a third quarter break when he eyed the rim. He picked up the ball in front of Klay Thompson, took a step and then took flight. James eyed teammate Tristan Thompson for a dump off pass, but Kevin Durant sealed off Thompson from the rim.

When James noticed all of his passing options were covered, he tossed the ball, just above the square, off of the backboard. He jumped up again to catch his own pass and slammed it through the rim with both hands, over Thompson and Durant.

The slam gave Cleveland a 96-75 lead with 9:03 remaining in the frame.

James scored 31 points and had 11 assists and 10 rebounds in the 137-116 victory. Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 40 points on 15-of-27 shooting.

'King James' is currently averaging 31.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 10.5 assists per game in the finals. No player has ever averaged a triple double in the finals in NBA history.

James led the Eastern Conference with 13 triple-doubles and had 42 double-doubles in 2016.
