June 1 (UPI) -- Former Los Angeles Clippers teammates Glen Davis and Austin Rivers are officially in a verbal spat.

Bleacher Report recently reported team sources saying that the Clippers had some resentment toward Rivers because he was being favored by his coach, and father, Doc Rivers.

On Wednesday, Rivers went on FS1's Undisputed to fire back at one of his father's detractors, "Big Baby" Davis.

"And I don't have a problem with Baby," Rivers said. "Me and Baby have always been cool. But it makes no sense to what he's doing, and whatever he has between him and his pops—my pops said the jokes about his weight and stuff. It was hard. Let me ask you something: If someone is constantly out of shape, late, don't remember plays, how the hell are you supposed to play him?"

Davis responded with a social media video on Wednesday night.

"I'm in Hawaii minding my own business and I look on Undisputed and I see old punk [expletive] Austin Rivers talking [expletive]. Come on man. Yeah, I might have been overweight. A little bit. Probably late for one or two practices. Come on man. Don't know the plays. Come one bro. You are lying now. Now you are [expletive] lying. That's a [expletive] lie. Second of all, your father gave you your money. Don't say [expletive] to me. Your father gave you your money. You aint work for it. [Expletive]. I was there. I seen you at practice. You didn't give a [expletive]. Thinking you all that, wearing those tight [expletive] pants. Your father gave you all that money so you can go wear those tight [expletive] pants. But keep your [expletive] mouth closed man. Shut up man. You are a [expletive] bum. Who has been given the world. Shut up and just stay under your father."

Davis, 31, played under Rivers for the Boston Celtics from 2007 through 2010. The duo reunited when Davis joined the Clippers in 2013. Rivers joined the Clippers in 2014. He averaged a career-high 12 points per game last season.
