Shaquille O'Neal's son dunks on entire grade-school class

May 21 (UPI) -- Arizona commit Shareef O'Neal might still be known as "Shaq's son," but after dunks like Saturday's throw down, that could soon change.

O'Neal is currently a junior and is ranked No. 19 in the 2018 ESPN 60 recruiting rankings.

On Saturday, he posted a video to Instagram, showing his dunking ability. In the video, the 17-year-old takes a couple dribbles, then runs toward a group of little boys. He pulls up with his right hand and emphatically dunks over the grade-school kids.

"They all ask me to do this," O'Neal wrote in the caption for the video.

In another video, he throws down a windmill on another pre-teen boy.

"Y'all don't realize that these kids ask me to dunk on them everytime I walk past the court," O'Neal tweeted.

Shaq said his son will be using his dad's NBA connections to improve on the court.

"He's a different type of player than I am," O'Neal said via Flohoops.com. "He has access to a lot of uncles. For example, he's going to be working out with Kevin Garnett in July. He's going to be working out with T-Mac [Tracy McGrady] in August...he's going to be leaning on other Hall of Famers."

But dad can still throw down, too. Shaq dominated a defender earlier this week at the Reebok headquarters, hammering in a ferocious slam and shoving him off of the basketball court.

Shareef is listed at 6-foot-9-inches and 215 pounds. The power forward will play his senior season at Crossroads School after transferring from Windward. He averaged 14.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in 2016, according to MaxPreps.
