May 5 (UPI) -- Ohio State wide receivers coach Zach Smith claims that Big Baller Brand stole his logo for Lonzo Ball's signature shoe.

And he might have a legitimate beef.

On Thursday, LaVar Ball's Big Baller Brand released Lonzo's first signature shoe. The ZO2 Primes are available for preorder at $495, with an autographed version available for $995.

The shoes feature a logo comprised of a blended letter Z and letter O, a nod to future lottery pick Lonzo Ball, LaVar's oldest son.

Smith said he created the logo and called Ball's usage "robbery." He made the logo for Ohio State's wide receivers, nicknamed "Zone 6."

"Looks familiar.... lol," Smith tweeted after being notified of the logo use.

If you are able to splurge on a pair, they better fit. The ZO2's are nonrefundable and don't start shipping until Nov. 24. After numerous critics voiced their concerns about the steep price for the kicks, LaVar Ball said that if you can't pay up, you aren't a "big baller."

"Big Baller's loose! If you can't afford the ZO2'S, you're NOT a BIG BALLER," LaVar tweeted Thursday.

"If you can't design your own logo.. and cop a logo a freaking football coach designed... you're a CLOWN," Smith responded.

Smith said he's going to start his own business to design logos.

"Gonna start my own design firm...Logos for any "big time" athlete for a small fee. #Zone6," Smith tweeted.

"Is @darrenrovell on the Ball Family payroll?? Sure seems like it...That logo is sweet, you're right. I designed it 3 years ago," Smith said.

"S/O to whoever turned my logo into a sleek gold and white version!! #Robbery @Lavarbigballer," Smith tweeted.

Fox Sports ran a Twitter poll to ask if LaVar stole the logo. About 69 percent of the voters said that he did.

Smith has since changed his Twitter bio to read: "CEO of Zone 6 | Designer of Lorenzo Ball's Logo... WR Coach for THE Ohio State University | IG/Snap: CoachZachSmith." He has 36,000 Twitter followers and counting.

The wide receiver coach has been with Ohio State for five years.

"I know what a quality coach Zach is," Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer said on the team's website. "He knows my system inside and out and he teaches the system the way I want it to be taught."
