Allen Iverson revives 'practice' rant for Atlanta Braves

April 4 (UPI) -- Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Allen Iverson recently paid homage to his "practice" rant for the Atlanta Braves.

This time Iverson was ranting about "parking," in a Twitter video posted Tuesday by the baseball franchise.

"It's been a while since I've done one of these," Iverson said at a mock press conference. He was sporting a Braves baseball cap during the interview.

"It has been seven years since you retired," one reporter said.

"Are you making a comeback," another reporter asked.

Iverson laughed and said: "You funny man."

"I noticed the Braves hat," another reporter said.

"Definitely, I've been a Braves fan since I was little," Iverson said.

A reporter then asked "The Answer" what he thinks of the Braves' SunTrust Park. He said he was given a tour of the new park and "had a great time."

"We heard parking might be an issue," a reporter said.

"Parking," Iverson questioned, in a similar way to how he once said "practice" in 2002. "The best franchise in all of baseball and we're in here talking about parking? What are we talking about? I know we aren't talking about parking."

"We worried about parking. Not the game. But parking."

The Braves [0-1] lost 6-0 Monday in an opening day contest to the New York Mets. It battles the Mets again at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday at Citi Field.

"Bubba Chuck" is seventh all-time in points per game in NBA history. He was an 11-time NBA all-star and the 2000 NBA MVP.

Iverson, who played 12 seasons for the Philadelphia 76ers, told reporters last year that he wishes he could take back the now infamous practice rant.

But by mimicking his famous words for the Braves, it looks like Iverson knows it's not going away anytime soon.
