Brooklyn Nets 109, Sacramento Kings 100 SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Brook Lopez scored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and the Brooklyn Nets ended their 16-game losing streak Wednesday with a 109-100 victory over the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center.

Lopez, in his ninth season and the longest-tenured Net in team history, made 9 of 17 shots from the field and went over the 10,000-point mark for his career as Brooklyn prevailed for the first since Jan. 20. The Nets hadn't won since a 143-114 rout at New Orleans.
Jeremy Lin scored 17 points and Isaiah Whitehead added 14 points off the bench as Brooklyn (10-49) never trailed in winning for only the second time in their past 29 contests since Dec. 26. Brooklyn led by as many as 15 points.
New Orleans Pelicans 109, Detroit Pistons 86
NEW ORLEANS -- Anthony Davis scored 24 of his game-high 33 points in the first half and point guard Jrue Holiday broke out of a shooting slump with 22 points to power New Orleans to a victory over Detroit at the Smoothie King Center.
In helping the Pelicans break a three-game losing streak, Davis became the seventh-youngest player in NBA history to score 7,000 career points.
The Pistons, playing on the second night of a back-to-back, looked like a tired team. They shot 3 of 17 from the free throw line and 3 of 23 from 3-point range.
San Antonio Spurs 100, Indiana Pacers 99
SAN ANTONIO -- Kawhi Leonard hit a heavily contested, game-winning turnaround jumper with 2.4 seconds to play for the last of his 31 points as San Antonio defeated Indiana at the AT&T Center.
The Spurs led 98-97 before Danny Green missed a layup with 1:46 to play and Myles Turner took advantage on the other end with a jumper 11 seconds later to give Indiana a 99-98 advantage. After a pair of empty possessions by both teams, Monta Ellis missed two free throws for the Pacers with nine seconds to play, giving San Antonio a final shot at the victory.
Leonard then hit the game winner despite great defense from Paul George. George had a good look at a 3-pointer at the buzzer but it bounced off the rim.
Miami Heat 125, Philadelphia 76ers 98
MIAMI -- Tyler Johnson scored 24 points off the bench to lead Miami to a victory over Philadelphia.
Hassan Whiteside scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Goran Dragic, Dion Waiters, and Wayne Ellington scored 15 points apiece for Miami, which won 17 of its last 20.
The Heat closed to 1 1/2 games behind Detroit for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons played in New Orleans later Wednesday.
Washington Wizards 105, Toronto Raptors 96
TORONTO -- Bojan Bogdanovic scored 27 off the bench, and Washington defeated Toronto.
The loss ended a four-game winning streak by the Raptors and was the second victory in a row for the Wizards.
The Raptors led by two points after the first quarter, but the Wizards used a surge early in the second quarter and were control for the rest of the way. They led by as many as 24 points late in the first half.
New York Knicks 101, Orlando Magic 90
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Kristaps Porzingis scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds in leading New York to a victory over Orlando at the Amway Center.
Derrick Rose scored 19 points and added seven rebounds for the Knicks, who kept their slim playoff hopes alive. Carmelo Anthony had 17 points and nine rebounds.
The Magic never got closer than eight points in the second half.
Atlanta Hawks 100, Dallas Mavericks 95
ATLANTA -- Atlanta got its season-long six-game homestand off to a winning start by running its unbeaten streak against Dallas to nearly four full seasons.
Paul Millsap had 18 points, include a key late basket, to go with 10 assists and eight rebounds as the Hawks earned their seventh straight victory over the Mavericks.
Dennis Schroder scored 17 points and Dwight Howard had 14 points and 12 rebounds as the Hawks won despite 22 turnovers and letting a lead for most of the game slip away.
Minnesota Timberwolves 107, Utah Jazz 80
SALT LAKE CITY -- Karl-Anthony Towns scored 21 points and collected 15 rebounds to lead Minnesota to a victory over Utah.
Andrew Wiggins scored 20 points and Shabazz Muhammad added 18 for Minnesota. The Timberwolves won for the fourth time in five games. Utah was the fourth opponent in the past seven games that Minnesota held under 90 points.
Dante Exum scored 15 points and Gordon Hayward added 13 to lead the Jazz. Derrick Favors chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak in the series for Utah, which lost its second game in a row.
Boston Celtics 103, Cleveland Cavaliers 99
BOSTON -- LeBron James registered the 49th triple-double of his career, but it was Boston, behind more fourth-quarter heroics from Isaiah Thomas, who got the last laugh.
Boston's little big man scored five points in the final 49.4 seconds and the Celtics, who had lost three of four since the All-Star break, beat the Cavaliers for their first win in three tries this season against the NBA champions.
Thomas, the league's leading fourth-quarter scorer, missed three straight free throws in the first 4:13 of the final period. But he blocked a shot by big man Tristan Thompson and set up 3-pointers by Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley before tying the game at 99 with a trey with 49.4 seconds left.
Denver Nuggets 110, Milwaukee Bucks 98
MILWAUKEE -- For the second straight night, Denver looked like a team on a mission to make the playoffs, and Milwaukee appeared ready to head in the opposite direction.
Denver used a dominant first half to earn a victory over the Bucks, completing a back-to-back sweep that began with a rout of Chicago on Tuesday.
The Nuggets matched their season best for fewest points allowed in a half and led by as many as 29 points in the first half before taking a 63-37 advantage into the break.
Houston Rockets 122, Los Angeles Clippers 103
LOS ANGELES -- James Harden scored 26 points and Ryan Anderson contributed 23, and Houston buried Los Angeles at Staples Center.
Anderson connected on 6 of 11 from 3-point range and added seven rebounds for the Houston, which hammered the Clippers for the second time this season. The Rockets rolled to a 140-116 win over the Clippers on Dec. 30 at Houston.
Nene scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds off the bench for Houston. Patrick Beverley, Clint Capela and Eric Gordon added 14 points apiece for the Rockets, who won for the seventh time in nine games. Harden handed out nine assists.
