Houston Rockets 123, Philadelphia 76ers 118

PHILADELPHIA -- James Harden had 51 points, 13 assists and 13 rebounds as the Houston Rockets beat the Philadelphia 76ers 123-118 on Friday night.

It was the 14th triple-double of the season for Harden, and the 18th time he has accumulated over 30 points and 10 assists. The latter is the highest single-season total since such numbers were first tracked in 1983-84, according to basketball-reference.com.

His point total was two off his season and career high of 53, against the New York Knicks on Dec. 31.

Nene added a season-high 21 points for the Rockets, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Philadelphia rookie center Joel Embiid, back after missing the three previous games with a bruised left knee, topped the Sixers with 32 points, one shy of his career high.

Indiana Pacers 115, Sacramento Kings 111

INDIANAPOLIS -- Paul George scored six of his 33 points in overtime, and Indiana rallied to defeat Sacramento in Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

George's basket with 31.8 seconds remaining broke a 111-111 tie, and after Garrett Temple and Darren Collison each missed potential game-tying shots with 7.1 and 2.0 seconds remaining, Jeff Teague made two game-clinching free throws with 0.4 seconds to play.

Indiana improved to 3-18 when trailing after three quarters and 2-7 in the second game of a back to back.

CJ Miles added 18 for the Pacers, Jeff Teague had 17 points and eight assists and Myles Turner scored 14. Indiana shot 48.7 percent (38 of 78).

New Orleans Pelicans 119, San Antonio Spurs 103

NEW ORLEANS -- Jrue Holiday scored a team-high 23 points and had 11 assists and Anthony Davis scored 16 points and grabbed 22 rebounds to power New Orleans to a victory over San Antonio in the Smoothie King Center.

The victory for the Pelicans snapped the Spurs' five-game winning streak, and it also ended San Antonio's streak of five consecutive victories over the Pelicans. The 119 points were the most allowed by the Spurs this season.

The Spurs were paced by Kawhi Leonard with 23 points, but no other Spur scored more than 14 points as San Antonio shot 38.8 percent

New York Knicks 110, Charlotte Hornets 107

NEW YORK -- Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis scored 18 points apiece to lead New York to a win over Charlotte at Madison Square Garden.

Courtney Lee added 16 points for the Knicks, including crucial points in the fourth quarter. Brandon Jennings scored 15 points off the New York bench.

Kemba Walker, who was named as a reserve to the Eastern Conference All-Star team on Thursday, poured in 31 points for the Hornets (23-24).

Knicks guard Derrick Rose left the game with a sprained left ankle midway through the third quarter and didn't return. The Knicks tweeted that x-ray were negative. Rose finished with 13 points and four assists.

Toronto Raptors 102, Milwaukee Bucks 86

TORONTO -- Kyle Lowry scored 32 points and added six assists as Toronto ended a season-high five-game losing streak with a victory over Milwaukee.

The Raptors, who led by as many as 19 points, took a seven-point advantage into the fourth quarter. They opened a 15-point lead early in the fourth and still led by that margin with three minutes to play.

Norman Powell added 19 points for the Raptors, who were without DeMar DeRozan (sprained right ankle). Patrick Patterson added 10 points while Jonas Valanciunas scored eight points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Cleveland Cavaliers 124, Brooklyn Nets 116

CLEVELAND -- LeBron James scored 31 points and passed for 11 assists, Kyrie Irving scored 28 points and Cleveland beat lowly Brooklyn, just its third win in its last nine games.

The final was closer than it should have been because the Nets scored 43 points in the fourth quarter, continuing a trend they have set all season. It's the third time this season they have scored at least 40 points against the Cavs in the fourth quarter -- but they lost all three games.

It was the fourth straight loss for the Nets and the 15th in their last 16 games. Perhaps sensing the impending doom, coach Kenny Atkinson rested Brook Lopez and Caris LeVert after already being without Trevor Booker (illness), Joe Harris (sprained ankle) and Jeremy Lin (hamstring).

Boston Celtics 128, Orlando Magic 98

BOSTON -- Isaiah Thomas scored 21 to notch his 30th consecutive 20-point contest as Boston blew out Orlando at TD Garden.

Thomas is 10 games shy of the Celtics' franchise mark, set by John Havlicek. Jae Crowder added 19 points and rookie Jaylen Brown scored a career-high 20 and grabbed eight rebounds.

Kelly Olynyk added 16 points off the bench for the Celtics.

Miami Heat 100, Chicago Bulls 88

CHICAGO -- Goran Dragic scored 26 points and had 11 assists, and Miami cruised to a win over Chicago.

Heat center Willie Reed scored 20 points in place of injured teammate Hassan Whiteside. Guard Dion Waiters added 19 points as Miami won its sixth game in a row. Former Heat guard Dwyane Wade led the Bulls with 15 points. Forwards Taj Gibson and Paul Zipser added 14 points apiece for Chicago, which lost its second straight game at home.

The game capped a drama-filled day for the Bulls, who met with coach Fred Hoiberg and general manager Gar Forman for about 40 minutes before the team's morning shootaround. Wade and forward Jimmy Butler each came off the bench as discipline for criticizing teammates two nights earlier. Their remarks prompted guard Rajon Rondo to fire back on social media with comments that indirectly called out Wade and Butler.

Washington Wizards 112, Atlanta Hawks 86

ATLANTA -- Otto Porter Jr. bounced back from a poor offensive night to score 21 points and grab 11 rebounds and sparked Washington to a win over Atlanta and pulled to within one-half game of fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

It was the largest margin of victory of the season for the Wizards, eclipsing their 25-point win at Boston on Nov. 9. Washington has won three straight, 10 of its last 12 games and is within one-half game of the fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

The Wizards never trailed and shot 48.8 percent from the field. They have won two of the three meetings against the Hawks and broke a two-game losing streak at Philips Arena.

Portland Trail Blazers 112, Memphis Grizzlies 109

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Damian Lillard scored 15 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter to lift Portland to a victory over Memphis at Moda Center.

Lillard led five Trail Blazers who scored in double figures, including Allen Crabbe, who came off the bench for 23 points. CJ McCollum had 18 points, Mason Plumlee 13 and Al-Farouq Aminu 12 for Portland, which won their third straight game.

Marc Gasol scored 33 points and had eight rebounds and five assists to lead Memphis (27-21). Zach Randolph had 17 points and 13 rebounds and Mike Conley contributed 17 points and 10 assists for the Grizzlies, who are 5-7 in January.
