Stephen A. Smith: Kevin Durant made "weakest move he's ever seen"

OKLAHOMA CITY, July 5 (UPI) -- ESPN's Stephen A. Smith knows the difference between Kevin Durant's move to the Golden State Warriors and LeBron James' trip to Miami.

It rests on the bandwagon.

"It is the weakest move I've ever seen an NBA superstar commit," Smith said in a video on his personal Facebook account. "You are riding the gravy train. You're jumping on the bandwagon. They don't need you. They've won without you. Chances are, they'd win again, without you. You are jumping on their coattails to do what some would say you should have done already. Considering the great talent that you are. That's my issue with Kevin Durant. Nothing else. Not him choosing to leave Oklahoma City. Not him choosing to go someplace else. Not him choosing to depart from Russell Westbrook, A: because they haven't won together, B: because most people didn't think they would win together, and C: because we all know Russell Westbrook is going to leave after next season. If I'm Sam Presti and the Oklahoma City Thunder, I'm trading Westbrook now. I'm looking to move him now. And if not now, definitely by the NBA trading deadline."

Smith made the video from, what appears to be, the inside of his house. He also said the same things on ESPN's broadcasts.

The Thunder lost a 3-1 Western Conference Finals series lead to the Golden State Warriors in May, before the Warriors lost a 3-1 series lead to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.
