NEW YORK, July 5 (UPI) -- Madison Square Garden will be packed with a new collection of New York Knicks this season.
Brooklyn native Lance Thomas agreed to a four-year deal with the team Monday, according to Cleveland.com.

NEW YORK, July 5 (UPI) -- Madison Square Garden will be packed with a new collection of New York Knicks this season. Brooklyn native Lance Thomas agreed to a four-year deal with the team Monday, according to Cleveland.com.
The first year of the contract pays Thomas $6.1 million, but he receives an annual 7.5 percent raise.

Thomas, 28, was involved in a 2015 trade where the Knicks acquired him from the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Cleveland Cavaliers received J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert from the Knicks.
Thomas averaged 8.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game in 59 contests last season for the Knicks.
Lance Thomas' contract is a 4-year deal with standard raises of 7.5 percent, sources say. Starts at around $6.1 million.

In five NBA seasons, he has averaged 5.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, while boasting a 43 percent career field goal percentage.
Monday afternoon, ESPN reported that three teams were interested in acquiring Thomas.
