What are those? Andrew Wiggins' shoe prompts mixed reaction

MINNEAPOLIS, June 18 (UPI) -- They aren't quite as dad-ish as Stephen Curry's new kicks, but Andrew Wiggins' new signature shoes were still primed for an internet roasting.

Social media obliterated Wiggins' Adidas Crazy Explosive's this week, comparing them to hiking boots, snowboarding shoes, wrestling shoes, and even rollerblades.

Josh Gondelman, writer for Last Week Tonight, offered some comic relief onto an already massive pile of hilarity when he tweeted: "The new Andrew Wiggins shoes are like the Curry 2s hiked the Appalachian Trail and came back with a grizzly beard."

The 2014 NBA Rookie of the Year averaged 20.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game this season for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Wiggins makes about $2 million annually off of his contract with Adidas.
