May 14 (UPI) -- The Milwaukee Brewers are calling up top prospect Keston Hiura.
Sources informed MLB.com and The Athletic of the move on Tuesday. Hiura, 22, was the No. 9 overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft. The second baseman is baseball's No. 15 overall prospect, according to MLB Pipeline.
He is hitting .333 and has 11 home runs in 147 plate appearances this season in Triple-A.
Sources told MLB Network that the Brewers will likely place third baseman Travis Shaw on the injured list to make room for Hiura on the 25-man roster. Mike Moustakas would likely move over to third base, his primary position.
The Brewers face the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
