Dec. 22 (UPI) -- The Atlanta Braves proved they are definitely ready for Christmas by producing a parody of Home Alone, with pitcher Kevin Gausman as Kevin McCallister.

Ballpark Alone also starred usher Walter Banks, Braves reporter Greer Howard and Braves host Mark Owens. The short film was set at SunTrust Park in Atlanta, the home of the Braves.

The film begins with Greer -- acting as Kevin's mom Kate McCallister -- scrambles at the airport telling others they are going to miss the flight. She runs around -- alongside Freeze -- to the airport gate and arrives just on time for the flight.

She then sits on the flight in relief of making it on time before saying she had a terrible feeling. The film then cuts back to SunTrust Park, where Gausman is still located.

"Kevin!" Kate McCallister screams.

Kevin watches the news to see the "base bandits" while eating a bowl of cereal in the clubhouse.

"This is my home, I have to defend it," Kevin says.

The pitcher then puts together some traps for the bandits, using the pitching machine, peanuts and more to foil the intruders.

Gausman, 27, posted a 2.87 ERA and a 5-3 record in 10 games for the Braves last season after being traded from the Baltimore Orioles in July.
