"Never knew what unconditional love meant or how it felt until I met this little princess," Betts wrote for his social media caption on Tuesday. "Nov. 6 2018 is a day I'll never forget."

His Wednesday photos featured a shot of his daughter's face and a shot of himself making a similar expression.

"Just like her daddy," Betts wrote.

Betts, 26, led the league with a .346 batting average and 129 runs scored in 136 games this season for the Red Sox. The three-time All-Star also hit a career-best 32 home runs for the World Series champions. He is eligible for arbitration this offseason.
