Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Free agent Bryce Harper hasn't said where he'll end up in 2019, but he recently got together with a new team for his wife on her birthday: the Backstreet Boys.

Harper pulled some strings and got backstage with his wife Kayla Harper this weekend for the boy band's concert at the Axis at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

The couple -- who married in 2016 -- made several posts on social media to document the special night, including one with them standing with Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, A.J. McLean, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell.

"What a night," Bryce Harper wrote on social media. "A must see show on the Vegas strip. The Backstreet Boys are definitely back! It was an absolute pleasure meeting and watching these guys perform. Thanks for all the hospitality!"

"My 9 year old self lost her mind last night. Bryce has been surprising me with little gifts all week and one of them happened to be a black dress that he said I needed for Saturday night," Kayla Harper wrote. "He let me know at dinner that he was taking me to see the Backstreet Boys... little did I know, the biggest surprise of them all was meeting them & then having them pull me onstage to be serenaded. #humblehusbandbrag."

Kayla also got to go on stage, where she was serenaded by the band as Shape of My Heart played.

Harper, 26, began his career by playing his first seven seasons with the Washington Nationals. The 2012 Rookie of the Year, 2015 National League MVP and six-time All-Star is a prized free agent this offseason with many suitors.
