Nov. 2 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers have reached an agreement with Clayton Kershaw on a three-year contract extension.
Los Angeles announced the deal on Friday. Sources told MLB Network that the deal pays Kershaw $31 million annually until 2021. He can earn an additional $1 million each season for making 24 starts, 26 starts, 28 starts and 30 starts. He could also get $1.5 million for winning the National League Cy Young Award.
