July 11 (UPI) -- The Minnesota Twins pulled some strings and enlisted Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin to help Eddie Rosario earn some votes for the All-Star Game.

Rosario, also known as 'Rosie,' is one of five players up for the final roster spot on the American League All-Star team. That roster spot will be announced on Sunday on ESPN. The latest numbers have him trailing the Seattle Mariners' Jean Segura, Boston Red Sox's Andrew Benintendi and New York Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton for the spot.

Rosario's teammates sported "Accept This Rosie" tuxedo T-shirts and welcomed Kufrin to Target Field on Tuesday in Minneapolis. Kufrin, a Minnesota native, threw the ceremonial first pitch to Rosiario. At one point, she went into the Twins' clubhouse and walked up to Rosaria -- who was decked out in a Tuxedo and shorts -- and accepted a rose from him.

"Twins fans, please accept 'Rosie' and vote for him as the best player in the league," Kufrin said in a video posted by the Twins on social media.

Rosario, 26, is hitting .300 with 18 home runs and 54 RBIs this season. He led baseball with 15 triples during his rookie campaign in 2015.

The 2018 All-Star Game is set for July 17 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
