June 23 (UPI) -- Yonder Alonso's toddler son is already an expert-level baseball fan.

He showed why recently in a video posted by the Cleveland Indians first baseman. Alonso posted the footage Friday on his Instagram account, showing his son watching the game in front of a TV.

The Indians beat the Detroit Tigers 10-0 Friday at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

Troy, 2, was sitting down for the bout with his eyes fixated on a seventh inning at-bat by Alonso. The Indians led 5-0 at the time. Tyler Naquin led off the inning with a single, before Fransisco Lindor drew a walk. Michael Brantley popped out to the catcher before Jose Ramirez was issued a free pass.

Edwin Encarnacion brought in Naquin with an RBI single, leaving the bases loaded for Alonso. The veteran infielder went up in the count 2-1 against Tigers right hander Johnny Barbato before belting his fourth offering over the right center field fence for a grand slam.

Troy -- who was obviously on a minor delay -- had to be reminded to look back at the TV for the exchange. The boy, who was watching the game with a baseball glove on his hand, repeatedly yelled "yeah." He also pointed to the sky to thank God.

"This is what it's all about! Family ... so blessed to have such a beautiful family by my side," Alonso wrote for the caption on the Instagram video.

Alonso went 2-for-4, with four RBIs and a run scored in the win.
