Miami staged the comeback Monday, after balking in a run and issuing a walk with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning.
Evan Longoria started the scoring with an RBI single in the top of the third frame. Brian Anderson tied the game for the Marlins with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning. Lewis Brinson put the Marlins ahead with an RBI triple in the same frame.

Chen balked during that exchange, prompting Buster Posey to score for the Giants.
Chen issued another intentional walk to Crawford, before he was yanked for Brad Ziegler.
The Marlins reliever walked Nick Hundley on four pitches, bringing in McCutchen from third base and giving the Giants a 4-2 lead.

Bumgarner was roughed up in the sixth frame. The Giants star began the inning by allowing a double to Anderson. J.T. Realmuto followed that exchange with a single. Cameron Maybin then brought in Anderson on a sacrifice fly to right field.
Bumgarner walked Justin Bour, prompting a mound visit from Bruce Bochy. The Giants starter then allowed an RBI single to Lewis Brinson and was replaced by reliever Reyes Moronta.
Bumgarner walked off of the mound and had some words for home plate umpire Jeremie Rehak, who wasn't having it. Rehak reacted to the criticism by tossing the four-time All-Star out of the game for the first time in his career.
Crawford plated another run for the Giants with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning.
The Marlins tied the game on an Anderson RBI double in the bottom of the frame. Realmuto plated the go-ahead runs with a two-run shot in the next at-bat.
The Marlins host the Giants in the second game of the four-game series at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday in Miami.
