May 20 (UPI) -- Miami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson crushed a 450-foot grand slam in the fourth inning against the Atlanta Braves Sunday at SunTrust Park in Atlanta, Ga.

The 24-year-old center fielder was facing Braves starter Julio Teheran in the top of the frame. Starlin Castro doubled for the Marlins to leadoff the inning. Brian Anderson sent Castro to third on a single in the next at-bat. Derek Dietrich then drew a walk, before Miguel Rojas singled home Castro.

Then Brinson stepped up to the plate. Teheran threw an 83.6-mph slider to start the exchange. Brinson crushed his next pitch -- a 92.6-mph four-seam fastball -- very deep to left field. Braves outfielders made no movements for the ball, as they watched the grand slam fly into the second deck of the outfield seats. The long ball left the park at 113.2-mph, according to Statcast.

Brinson's bomb gave the Marlins a 6-0 lead. Miami led the contest 8-4 entering the eighth inning. Brinson was 1-for-4, with four RBIs and a run scored at that point in the game. Rojas was 2-for-2 with three RBIs for the Marlins.
