May 11 (UPI) -- Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor was forced to shave his head after losing a bet to the baseball team at Montverde Academy. Lindor -- who attended the Florida high school -- made good on his end of the bargain Thursday in the school gymnasium. The two-time All-Star walked into the building rocking his signature dyed blonde locks and holding clippers in his hand.

He then let students at the school run the electric razor over his hair.
Lindor made the bet with the talented squad before the 2018 season. He said if the team went undefeated, he would shave his head.
The Eagles went 25-0 and finished the season as the No. 2 team in the country. Montverde Academy does not compete in the Florida state playoffs.
"When you lose a bet to your high school team and you gotta shave," Lindor wrote on Instagram. "#25-0 #ShaveMyHead #EndResult."
Lindor, 24, was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Montverde High School. He is hitting .292 and has 10 home runs and 22 RBIs this season. Lindor led the American League with 723 plate appearances and 651 at-bats last season.
He has hit a home run in three of his last four games.
