Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Legendary San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds recently revealed one of his passions: cooking.

And no, not cooking a 98 mph fastball into the stands at AT&T Park. Bonds appears to be a legitimate chef. The 53-year-old posted a photo to social media on Tuesday, showing off one of his newest creations.

"My fresh baked sourdough bread #homemadefood," Bonds wrote.

He included before and after photos of the dough and the baked bread. Bonds was also sporting a chef's jacket, which read: "Barry Bonds, Executive Sous Vide Chef."

Apparently bread baking is big in the bigs, as former New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez also liked the photo.

"Looking good BB," Rodriguez commented on Instagram.

Bonds retired from baseball following the 2007 season with the Giants. The seven-time MVP and 14-time All-Star hit 762 home runs - the most in baseball history - but still hasn't made the Hall of Fame.

This year he received a career-high 53.8 percent of the Baseball Writers of America Association's vote. Candidates eyeing Cooperstown must get 75 percent of the vote. Bonds received 44.3 percent of the vote in 2016 and 36.8 percent of the vote in 2015.

This isn't the first time Bonds has shown off his passion for the kitchen. He also posted a video in September of himself cooking up a "special recipe."

That concoction included chicken with his "special seasoning."

Bonds showed off a jar of the homemade seasoning but refused to reveal the ingredients.
