Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Major League Baseball teams are lining up to let 7-year-old Hailey Dawson throw out a first pitch at their games.
Dawson has a rare disease called Poland Syndrome and was born without three fingers. She had a 3D printed hand, which works with fishing line.
Hailey has already thrown out the first pitch for the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles. She wants to throw out the first pitch at every MLB ballpark.
On Thursday, something really special happened. Teams responded quickly to her wish, asking her to come to their games and take the mound. Bleacher Report posted a link to a video featuring Dawson, which the teams responded to in droves.
Those teams included: the San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers, Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, Kansas City Royals, Philadelphia Phillies, Seattle Mariners, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, Cincinnati Reds, Oakland Athletics and others.
