Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Slugger Giancarlo Stanton is already an expert at hitting the long ball, now he's trying out acting in music videos.

The Miami Marlins star makes a cameo in Lexy Panterra's latest music video for the song So Good. The song was released on Thursday.

In the video, Stanton lounges in a bed while kissing and grinding with the music artist. He wears underwear in the black-and-white film.

Stanton currently leads Major League Baseball with 51 home runs. The 27-year-old is also hitting a career-best .292 and leads the league with a career-best .665 slugging percentage, 1.049 OPS and 173 OPS+.

TMZ Sports first reported the news of Stanton's role in the music video. Panterra, who is famous for her twerking videos, has 2.1 million Instagram followers.

Panterra threw out the first pitch last season before a Marlins game. TMZ reported that Panterra, 28, and Stanton are just friends.

Stanton was linked to several teams this summer despite his massive contract with the Marlins. The four-time All-Star is making $14.5 million this season. His contract escalates to $25 million in 2018. He is set to make $32 million annually from 2023 through 2025. The contract includes a $25 million team option and $10 million buyout in 2028, when Stanton is 38-years-old.
